According to all promotional material, 舞-HiME will be (as expected) complete and uncut 26 episodes in High Definition. And a bonus treat is an additional 3 minutes added on. It doesn’t specify what or where these 3 minutes will allocated though so you would just have to purchase these BD’s to find out.
And since I support the industry and want to keep us artists and writers working, I’ll invest in these once they are released. Although it’s kind of a weird situation for me as I will be unintentionally supporting my former employer LOL. Ah well…if it’s the Project HIME universe then I can swallow my pride for this.
Also another bonus (at least for me) is that Hisayuki has been comissioned to create another piece of original illustration art for the Blu-Ray Jacket.

Imagine having to watch your favorite Otome in a nice skin-tight suit…IN HI-DEF!

Yay! That is oh so tempting to buy on Blu-Ray, but I must remind myself. Budget! Now if they were to add English subtitles (they won’t) then I would fork over the money in a heartbeat. My Japanese is rusty so wouldn’t be as enjoyable without. That or by the time I budget the money I can remember what I forgot hehe.

Oh you will? That’s pretty cool! Yeah, I’m hoping to make another trip there during the opening of the first Macross Frontier movie but I have to see if my finances improve by then LOL. Oh but yeah….you will find that temptation over certain investments in anime merchandise is difficult to resist.
I’ve succumbed to those temptations many times and ended up spending just under $1000 worth of anime merchandise LOL…..I had to buy another suitcase while I was there. I didn’t even want to ship my items back because I just wanted to buy more manga…oh….bringing back manga and DVDs are a killer because of how much they weigh. T_T;;;;

I pretty much sum’d up what they had mentioned in the information that I provided. Anyhow aside from the blu-ray info, Shizuru says that “Natsuki is the best” and Natsuki, beforehand was expressing her relief that the blu-rays were “finally” coming out. It was like her way of an exasperated “It’s about time.”
I’m just surprised that Natsuki didn’t say her trademark expression, “Yare, Yare…”
Ugh…I should have posted the Mai Hime stuff separately as it’s over powering my Projekt MUSE update as I just realized. I’m pretty certain the only reason why most people comment here is because of Mai Hime/NatShiz which is pretty biased and unfortunate LOL.

lol at buying another suitcase. I would have done the same except the last trip I took to Japan, I shoved a military style duffel bag into my original suitcase. One bag on the way there, two on the way back. And yes half my original bag was taken up with manga, cds, dvds, gifts for friends, etc.
As for Projekt MUSE, I’m waiting to make a more detailed comment when I see more

Ah, actually I seem to recall Higa-san doing the same thing (or was that me?)…regarding putting an extra bag into a suitcase LOL. I also used one of my guitar gig-bags to stuff clothing in while I used the hard suitcase to protect things like figures and other fragile collectables LOL.
Of course the pain of it all is going through customs….bleh.

Sure no prob. The January release date seems like forever but it will give me enough time to save up lol. I guess I’ll just place my order a week before its release (if they are still accepting pre-orders by then but yeah…DEFINITELY have to get that. ^^
Oh NatShiz doing the promoting, yeah, they have a decent following in Japan though not quite as big as outside of Japan…which is actually pretty funny if you think about it XD. There’s actually another promo featuring Mai and Mikoto but I didn’t find it quite as interesting so I just provided the NatShiz link for both shows. ^_^;;;;;;
